The literal meaning of relationship is the way in which two or more people or things are
connected or state of being connected. In other words an emotional bonding
between two people is called relationship. Relationship with friends,
co-worker, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife and family are important
components of our lives.
As we go through
in life we meet variety of people. Relationship can mean different things to
different people. As we meet people we develop a relationship with them either
in a form of friend, teacher, mentor etc.
But each and
every relationship has emotions of its own. It has the bonding of love, faith,
trust, honesty, blood relations etc. The blood relations like father, mother,
brother, sister are by birth and trust, love; honesty comes naturally to these
relations. It does not require too much of nurturing and efforts.
Second the
friendship or the relation between two friends are the one which is built on
the base of trust ,similar liking, honesty, faith or sometimes circumstances
makes two people friends. These
relationship need efforts from both the sides to develop and for long lasting
friends has to come forward to fulfil the demands of the friendship, for
example-should be there at the time of crisis, whether emotional or financial,
celebrating small successes, being miles apart but making a weekly call to say
“Hi”, “Hello” gives immense pleasure and strength to the friends and
relationship thus gets stronger.
The much talked
about the controversial relationship is the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.
In other words love relationship. Every person on this earth wants to fall in
love or wants and desire to be loved. It’s the feeling that makes a person fly
on seventh cloud. No doubt love makes a person very sensitive and mature in
terms of understanding of emotions, verbal and non-verbal behaviour. But among
all these merry go round the most important ingredient in this relationship is
TRUST and HONESTY towards each other because this is the relationship which is
built only and only on TRUST, when two unknown people come close then TRUST is
the only thing which becomes the base of
the relationship.
In this
relationship small little things can cause trouble and at times can be source
of immense joy and Happiness. Many people are being cheated and ditched in this
relationship. Love is blind as it is widely said and heard, so when you love
someone you tend to believe him/her easily and blindly .This believes and trust
is being misused by the other party. This situation is very difficult to
handle. Few Questions arises: - What would be the state of mind when he/she
ditched the other? What was the thought or plan he/she was making while doing
so? Did he or she love the other party? Was love for him/her just for status
symbol that he or she possesses girlfriend or boyfriend? Before doing so didn’t
he/she thought about the pain or agony the other would go through?
On the other side
there are people who are truly in love with their partner and they have given
their relationship an important meaning i.e. Marriage. Taking their
relationship to another level by the institution of marriage. It is not that everything must have been bed of roses but still they
stood firm and beard the pain to be together.
In my opinion
when you are in love give all what you have i.e. 100% of your love, trust and
loyalty no matter what may come. Because when things does not fall into its place you did not have
to suffer from any guilt.
So depth and
sincerity should be the most important. One should have few good and rewarding
relationships rather than focusing on too many people who slip in and out of
your life as and when they please.
